The Pros and Cons to using XREAL smart glasses on a train
Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of my XREAL One Pro smart glasses. They have so many uses when travelling and working away.
There are however a few minor issues I've experienced that I hope get rectified in future models.
Anchor mode when travelling
If you try putting the glasses in anchor mode while travelling you'll notice the content on your screen keeps drifting. This is because the internal sensors of the glasses are fighting against the actual movement of the vehicle. Unfortunately the only fix for now is to switch the glasses to follow mode. If this doesn't fix the issue it's likely that sensors need recalibrating or you're getting some magnetic interference.
Some devices cut out after a few seconds/minutes
If you notice this happening, particularly if you're using the USB-C cable that comes with the glasses I would highly recommend trying a different USB-C cable first. The one I bought is linked below. You might notice this more often with Google Pixel and Samsung phones. This is because the devices require a specific/high standard of cable. You might have noticed this when trying to charge the devices with certain USB-C cables that it simply doesn't work or the device complains.
